Приглашение к сотрудничеству и авторству: многотомная "Военная энциклопедия России и Евразии"

I am happy to announce to my colleagues on H-Russia that the Military Encyclopedia of Russia and Eurasia (MERE) will shortly resume publication. I have taken over from the former editor, David R. Jones, who edited volumes 1-8 of MERE during its first 20 years in print (for a list of entries in those volumes, please see www.ai-press.com).

I would like to invite all researchers and scholars with expertise in Russian, Eurasian and related military topics to write for MERE.

In case you are not familiar with the encyclopedia, MERE is a comprehensive historical reference work focused on the military and naval history of Russia and the broader Eurasian region and will encompass the broadest possible understanding of military topics pertinent to that part of the world.

It is a multi-volume, open-ended, continuously developing reference work with an alphabetical arrangement of topics, intended for all students of Russian, Eurasian military and naval subjects.

If you are interested in writing for MERE, please contact me at: Editor-MERE@ilstu.edu, and I will send you a list of the topics we hop to include in the next few volumes.

If there is a topic appropriate for this encyclopedia that you do not find on our list, please let me know. If you find nothing on the list that you would be interested in writing on, please let us know your interests and we may recommend topics appearing in future volumes. Also, if you have colleagues who would be able to contribute entries, please encourage them to contact me at Editor-MERE@ilstu.edu about
submitting entries.
